Council on ongoing efforts to advance directions in the November 2023 approved Council motion, . The motion called for a range of actions to support improved social, economic and health outcomes for residents of the Downtown Eastside (DTES) and addresses the complex challenges they face. This includes efforts to increase supportive housing and services for those dealing with homelessness and mental health and substance use issues.

- All restaurants in Vancouver that are licensed to serve alcohol to apply to serve until 2 am every night of the week.

Auditor General releases 2024 Whistleblower Report
Vancouvers Auditor General Mike Macdonell released his 2024 Whistleblower report. This is the since Council reassigned responsibility for whistleblowing to the Auditor General beginning January 2024. New strategy launched for market rental housing on City land
